The Xiaomi Mi3 sale starts from June 10 with every purchase backed by a 6 months warranty.
GreenDust will be holding a flash sale of unboxed Xiaomi Mi3 smartphones priced at Rs 10,999. The handsets are available for Rs 3000 lesser than MRP and will come with free shipping as well as a 6-month warranty. Users who purchase the handset from Greendust's mobile app will get an additional discount of Rs 150.
The Xiaomi Mi3 smartphone has a 5-inch IPS display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 2.3 GHz processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. It is available in 16/64 GB internal memory variants. The smartphone runs Android 4.3 OS upgradeable to Android 4.4. Camera wise the device has a 13MP rear snapper and a 2 MP front snapper. The smartphone is backed by a 3050 mAH battery that delivers 500 hours of standby time, 25 hours of talk time on 3G and 50 hours of music playback. The Xiaomi Mi 3 models that will be sold will either be seal-opened but unused, or have some other software issues which have been fixed by GreenDust. GreenDust is one of the biggest online store to sell refurbished or surplus products. The company had earlier held a flash sale for Xiaomi Redmi 1S smartphone. The refurbished phone was sold at a price tag of Rs 4,599, while the unboxed phone was priced at Rs 4,999. Both the type of phones came with a six month warranty. Greendust says that the returns market is set to rise to $1.2 billion by 2017-18 and over 48 million products will be returned by consumers over the next three years. Mobile devices will witness a considerable uptrend within this segment. "We're looking at the possibility of having a model where new Xiaomi phones will get sold through Flipkart and refurbished or unboxed will get sold through us," said Hitendra Chaturvedi, founder and chief executive of GreenDust.
