According to AssembleDebug, once the update is available, when you draw a circle around a section of your screen using Circle to Search, you’ll notice new options such as “Copy image” and “Share image” popping up.

Selecting “Copy image” will likely capture only the circled area as a screenshot and launch the image editor. From there, you can opt to enhance the image with annotations or other adjustments, then copy and share it via compatible apps.

On the other hand, the “Share image” feature is expected to allow you to instantly share the cropped screenshot through any installed share target, including messaging apps, cloud storage, social media platforms, and more.

This streamlined approach is expected to simplify the process of sharing on-screen visuals. Users will no longer need to capture full-screen screenshots and then edit them to share only the relevant portion.

This screenshot control offered by the Circle to Search is poised to become a time-saving and user-friendly addition for swiftly sharing app interfaces, documents, images, and other screen segments among Pixel devices.

Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that this new feature will likely extend to other non-Google smartphones, such as the Galaxy S24 series, which also support Circle to Search once it becomes publicly available.
