Gartner includes Kerala-based Flytxt in its ‘cool vendors’ list

Research firm Gartner has included mobile value-added services player Flytxt in its report that lists the ‘cool vendors’ in emerging markets.
In the report titled “Cool Vendors in Emerging Markets, 2013”, Gartner explains, “Cool vendors are vendors that have captured Gartner’s interest during the past year because they offer innovative or intriguing technologies or solutions. In this research, Gartner highlights vendors that have an impact specifically on emerging markets.”

Kerala-based firm, Flytxt, offers Big Data analytics powered revenue and customer experience management solutions for Cellular Service Providers (CSPs). The company says it has partnered with various mobile operators in Asia and Africa, and caters to over 400 million subscribers. It claims to have generated over $250 million as incremental revenue for operators so far.
