The Samsung Galaxy Note III is expected to be made official at the IFA 2013 event in Berlin.

Rumours about the third generation Samsung Galaxy Note phablet have been doing the rounds for quite some time. Now images of what is believed to be the prototype Samsung Galaxy Note III have surfaced on the web.

The leaked images of the Galaxy Note III come from SamMobile and TechTastic, showing a huge display with curved corners and a high resolution display. The thin bezel of the alleged device shows it’s not the Galaxy Mega 6.3.

The Samsung Galaxy Note III is expected to be formally announced at the IFA 2013 event in Berlin. The third generation Galaxy phablet is expected to feature 5.99-inch Super AMOLED display, 13MP rear camera, Snapdragon 800 or the Exynos octa-core processor, Wi-Fi, GPS an S-Pen and the latest Android OS along with Samsung’s own TouchWiz interface.

Samsung is readying for June 20 event in London where it is slated to showcase a slew of new smartphones. The company has already confirmed Mini and Active versions of its flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone. The company is rumoured to launch a Zoom variant of the S4 as well. Samsung yesterday made its Galaxy Ace 3 smartphone official.
