Micromax is set to launch a new smartphone called the ‘Bolt A40’. Spotted on the company’s website, the new Micromax smartphone features dual-SIM, 1GHz processor and a 4.5 inch display. The device is expected to be launched in the sub 5K segment.
The Micromax Bolt A40 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA capacitive touchscreen display. It is powered by a 1GHz Spreadtrum SC6820 processor and runs on outdated Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system. The device has a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front facing camera for video calling.
The Bolt A40 has 512MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM. The phone supports expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD card slot. On the connectivity front, the Micromax Bolt A40 supports Bluetooth 2.1, EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi and USB 2.0 but does not support 3G connectivity.

It has a 1500mAh battery that the company claims can deliver standby time up to 175 hours and can give talk time up to 4.5 hours. Micromax has preloaded the device with apps like EYE Room, 3in1 Bubbles, M!Live, Hike, Opera Mini and Spuul.
Micromax recently unveiled the Micromax Canvas Ego A113 smartphone. The phone is available for pre-orders on snapdeal.com for Rs 12,999. The device has a 4.7-inch display and offers Dual SIM (GSM GSM).
It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and has a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. It has 4GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card support. The Canvas Ego A113 has an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and video recording.
