Pictures and specifications of Dell’s proposed WP7 device have been leaked, and it’s to be called the Lightning. The Dell Lightning is a 4.1-inch WVGA OLED multi-touch portrait-slider device that has specs as good as its looks. Check them out below:

The Dell Lightning is certainly a feature-rich phone, and is touted by Dell to offer unified communications and the “Best Mobile Email. Period.” It also offers Bing-powered browsing and the “Ultimate Internet”, and of course, the fully-integrated Zune HD Player and Zune Marketplace experience.
The Lightning’s distinct design looks slick in the slides (check them out below), and is Dell’s idea of providing PC-like functionality in a pocket-able form-factor, and of being the ultimate pocket computing and communication device. It will feature cloud based auto-sync, back-up, and remote management, apart from full-Flash support. The device will be available by the end of the year.
