BSNL introduces special roaming plans
The state run telecom operator BSNL follows suit after the telecom giants such as Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular announced their special roaming plans.
State-run telecom operator BSNL has announced special roaming plans for its postpaid and prepaid subscribers in the country.
BSNL is offering two special tariff vouchers – unlimited free incoming calls for a daily rental of Rs. 5 and a STV of Rs. 69 with validity of 30 days. The operator will charging outgoing local and national calls at 1.5p per second.
The state owned operator is also offering new Roaming Tariff Plans for its postpaid customers. The plans are priced at Rs. 145 and Rs. 625, and include services such as free SMS and calls. There are two more RTPs priced at Rs. 149 and Rs. 825 respectively. The RTPs provide free unlimited incoming calls for a month.
BSNL is offering an RTP for Rs. 405 and free roaming RTP for Rs. 705 to its prepaid customers.
BSNL’s new roaming packs come after the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) allowed operators to offer conditional free national roaming plans. It may be recalled other service providers including Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular have already announced their special roaming packs.
