BlackBerry 10 OS-based Aristo, Laguna and London specifications leak

Leaked confidential Research in Motion slides have been doing the rounds of the internet, purportedly showing off the company’s flagship smartphone, the Blackberry Aristo, as well as the BlackBerry Laguna and London.

A full-touch BlackBerry 10 OS device with a 4.65-inch (1280×720) OLED display, the BlackBerry 10 Aristo looks to be powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Krait processor (Qualcomm APQ8064 chipset) coupled with 2GB of RAM. The touchscreen uses OCTA Glass from Samsung, which will apparently integrate the touch sensor with the display panel.

Other specifications of the BlackBerry Aristo include a thickness of 8.5mm, built-in storage of 16GB, microSD card expandability, a 2,800 mAh non-removable battery, an 8MP autofocus rear camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, and the full suite of connectivity options – such as 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB, miniHDMI-out and NFC, as well as Wi-Fi with Direct and DLNA functionality.

The specifications of the CDMA-based version of the often-leaked BlackBerry London also seem to be doing the rounds, called the BlackBerry Laguna. Apparently due for U.S. carrier Verizon, the Laguna runs on a dual-core Krait processor (Qualcomm MSM8960) probably clocked at 1.5GHz, coupled with 1GB of RAM.

Other specifications of the 9mm-thick BlackBerry Laguna include a 4.2-inch 1280×768 display (355ppi), an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash, a 2MP front-facing camera, 16GB of built-in storage, hot-swappable microSD card, an 1,800 mAh battery, and dual-stereo microphone for active noise cancellation, as well as such connectivity options as 4G, Bluetooth 2.1, microUSB, microHDMI-out and NFC, apart from Wi-Fi with DLNA, hotspot, and Direct functionality.

The BlackBerry London, according to its own leaked slide, is identical to the CDMA Laguna, which apart from GSM functionality, also uses a different dual-core processor TI OMAP4 STE M5730.
