Asus has quietly unveiled a 128 GB variant of the Asus Zenfone 2 smartphone priced at Rs 29,999. The handset has been listed on ecommerce site flipkart with a 'coming soon' tag.
The Asus ZenFone 2 ZE551ML smartphone has a 5.5 inch display screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has a 2.3 GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor with 4GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory expandable via microSD card slot. It has a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front camera. The Asus ZenFone 2 ZE551ML runs Android 5.0 with ZenUI on top. Connectivity options included are Dual-SIM with dual standby, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, micro-USB, NFC, 3G and 4G LTE support. It comes with inbuilt accelerometer, proximity, ambient light and gyroscope sensors. The smartphone is backed by a 3000 mAh battery. It is available in Glacier Grey, Osmium Black, Glamour Red, Ceramic White and Sheer Gold colors.
Till now Asus has launched Asus ZenFone 2 ZE551ML 4 GB of RAM model in 32 GB and 64 GB inbuilt storage models in Taiwan and India. The devices are priced starting from Rs 12,000 to Rs 20,000. India may be the first country to get the new Asus ZenFone 2 ZE551ML variant with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal memory.
