Android KitKat will get new versions of Gmail, Hangouts and Search
HIGHLIGHTS

The latest Android version from Google - Android 4.4 KitKat has been teased with new versions for Gmail, Search and Hangouts.

The new version of Android 4.4 KitKat will include updated versions of Gmail for Android, Hangouts for Android, and Google Now.

The Gmail update gives it a cleaner look and looks very similar to Google Now with cards that makes up the entire Gmail interface, making it easier to navigate and user friendly. The new update will appear for all Android users working with any Android version from the past, however, certain updates will only exist for users of the last couple of versions of Android.

The Hangout update for Android appears with new new contact status indicators. There are no major changes in the Hangout update when compared to Gmail, but features a fully operational chat app through Google .

The Google Search app update – and Google Now bring new location based websites that appear in sync with your current location (based on your device’s GPS location). This would allow you to tell your family and friends when you left work – a not so common ability that is still gradually rolling out, or so they claim. The update also brings in Smart-TV cards that interact with your television.
