Just three days from now, Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 9 officially at an ‘Unpacked’ event on August 9 in New York. A string of leaks have already unveiled a lot of information about the features and specifications of the smartphone. A latest leak which looks pretty believable, confirms everything about the Galaxy Note 9 that leakters have been reporting so far. The leak comes from Russia, where a Twitter user has posted an image of the box of the Galaxy Note 9 smartphone which lists all its hardware specifications and some software information.

Twitter user Dmitriy Ryabinin shows the back of the Galaxy Note 9's box and claims that the phone has already been stocked in Russian stores. In a separate tweet, the leakster also claims that there are only two storage variants of the smartphone and 128GB is the base variant. Initially, the phone is claimed to be available in three colours – black, blue and copper. Let's discuss the leaked specs now.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Specs

The rear of the box believed to be of the Note 9 mentions that the phone will sport a 6.4-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display, which is in line with the specs that have been leaked so far. It is assumed that Samsung will incorporate the Infinity Display design on the Note 9 because it is a flagship device. When it comes to the camera, the smartphone will have a dual-camera setup at the back. There is 12MP primary lens with a dual aperture that can shift from F/2.4 aperture to a wider F/1.5 for low light shots. The secondary camera has a 12MP lens with F/2.4 aperture. There is a mention of an 8MP front shooter.

The image further shows the 128GB + 6GB variant of the Galaxy Note 9, which is claimed to be the base model of the device. Some of the reports have claimed that Samsung will launch the 512GB version that may have 8GB RAM. The leakster, in a separate tweet, has claimed that the 128GB variant will be priced at 69,990 rubles (approx Rs 76,000)  and the 512GB version will be available for 89,990 rubles (approximately Rs 94,000).

As reported, the S-Pen stylus will have enhanced capabilities. The box lists the stylus as “S-Pen with remote control.” It has been claimed that the S-Pen will have Bluetooth support and may be used as a camera shutter for group photos and also have the ability to control music playback. Going by the image, the phablet will house a whopping 4,000mAh battery which is a considerable increase from its predecessor that had a 3,600 mAh battery. The phone will have an IP68 rating which means that it is water and dust resistant and can be submerged in 1.5m depth for half an hour.

Lastly, as per the image, the phone will be secured by the Samsung Knox system. The box should contain AKG stereo earphones. The phone will also feature NFC for contactless payments as there is a mention of Samsung Pay on the box.
