According to the reports, Apple may have opted for this decision to comply with the EU’s rules of selling only USB Type C devices. However, there can be more reasons behind this move.

The iPhone 16e is an official successor to the iPhone SE 3 and comes with promising upgrades. For instance, the iPhone 16e comes with a big 6.1-inch OLED panel with 1200 nits of brightness compared to a 4.7-inch panel. The device also gets a new A18 Bionic chipset compared to the A15 Bionic chips in the SE. The iPhone 16e has a double RAM and storage option.

In terms of camera, the device gets a 48MP primary shooter compared to 12MP on SE. The device also gets an in-house C1 5G modem along with USB C and IP68 dust and water resistance.

Speaking of the iPhone 14 Plus, the reports suggest that Apple has reported slightly lesser sales and has halted its production, and this is the reason why Apple has delisted from the platform.

On the other hand, the iPhone 16e price starts at Rs 59,900 which could have clashed with the iPhone 14. The iPhone 14 is also not available on the official website but can still be purchased via retail channel partners.
