Adcom launches ‘Adcom Thunder’ series of smartphones, starting at Rs. 3,199

Adcom is the latest entrant to an already crowded budget Android smartphone market. The Adcom Thunder series smartphones are priced within range of Rs. 3,199 and Rs 8,999.

Advantage Computers India Pvt. Ltd (ADCOM) has introduced six smartphones under its ‘ADCOM Thunder’ series. These Android smartphones are priced within range of Rs. 3,199 and Rs 8,999.

The Thunder A530 HD is the most expensive smartphone of the lot. The phone features a 5.3 inch HD display and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and has 512MB RAM. The A530 HD has 4GB built-in storage. There’s 8MP rear and 2MP front cameras. For connectivity, the smartphone supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

The Thunder A500 sports a 5-inch screen with 480 x 800 resolution. It runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. The smartphone has 4GB ROM and 512MB of RAM. The Thunder A500 comes with 2800mAh battery.

The Thunder A450 and A430 come with similar set of specifications except for the screen sizes. The common specs include Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8MP rear and 1.3MP rear cameras and 512MB of RAM. The A450 has a 4.5-inch display whereas the A430 has 4-inch display.

The Adcom Thunder A400 and A350 are the low-end smartphones featuring 3.2MP rear and 1.3MP front cameras, 1GHz processor and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Thunder A400 and A350 have 4.0-inch and 3.5-inch displays respectively.
