Xiaomi Mi 5 with 5.5-inch display, 4GB RAM to launch in Nov?

Xiaomi Mi 5 rumored to have a 5.5 inch QHD display, with 4GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC.

Xiaomi is reportedly working on its next Mi flagship device – the Mi 5, according to reports. The device will feature a Snapdragon 820 Qualcomm processor with 4 GB of RAM.

According to a Chinese website, IT168 the Xiaomi Mi 5 is slated to launch in November this year. The handset will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC with 4 GB RAM and 16/64 GB of inbuilt storage. It will have a 5.5-inch QHD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. Other leaked specifications of the device include an ultrasonic fingerprint identification system, which doesn't need a physical button present anywhere on the device to function. It is expected to have a 16 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera, a USB Type C connector and a 3000 mAH battery. The handset will be made of aluminum and have a slim 5.1mm frame.
Previous reports have even mentioned details of a rumored Mi 5 Plus phablet with a 6-inch QHD bezel-less display. The handset will have 4GB of RAM, 32 GB of inbuilt storage, and a 16 MP primary camera. A Mi 5 Plus will be released along with the Mi 5 in November. Apart from this Xiaomi is also rumored to be working on a new Mi 4S handset, a new variant of its last-year flagship smartphone that comes updated with the Snapdragon 810 SoC and a 13 MP primary camera with optical image stabilization as well as other improvements. The smartphone is expected to be unveiled on July 15.

Xiaomi has launched the Mi 4i in India for Rs 12,999 in April. The handset has a 5-inch full HD display and runs Android Lollipop with the new MiUI 6 on top. The smartphone comes with supports for six Hindi languages including Hindi, Telugu and Kannada. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor with 2 GB of RAM. It has a 13MP primary camera with two tone flash and a 5 MP front camera. Connectivity options included in the Xiaomi Mi 4i are dual-SIM with dual standby, 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and USB support. It has a 3120 mAh battery which according to company claims lasts 1.5 days.
