Vivo is reportedly launching some new interesting devices very soon. The devices will be Vivo X Fold 2, Vivo X Flip and Vivo Tab 2. Vivo X Flip will be the company’s first ever Flip-based folding phone. Meanwhile, Vivo X Fold Plus’ successor Vivo X Fold 2 is also expected to debut in this event.
A tipster has leaked some images of the Vivo launch event which reveals the date, time and place of the event. Vivo could launch Vivo X Fold 2, Vivo X Flip and Vivo Tab 2 on April 20 at 7 PM in China.
The specifications of these devices are not confirmed yet but we do have some leaks which reveal some expected specifications. Let’s have a look at them.
Vivo X Fold 2 specifications

The X Fold 2 is equipped with an E6 AMOLED stretching 6.53-inches whence folded and when it expands, you could get an 8.03-inch display. Both screens support a 120Hz refresh rate, but the external screen has a 1080p resolution, while the internal display boasts a higher resolution of 2160 x 1916 pixels.
The Vivo foldable phone could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
In terms of camera, it could sport a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor. On the front, it might feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The Vivo X Fold 2 will reportedly pack a 4800mAh battery which supports 120-watt fast charging and 50-watt wireless charging.
Vivo X Flip specifications
The Vivo X Flip will reportedly come with a 6.8-inch Foldable display with FHD+ resolution. The display panel could support up to 120Hz refresh rate. It can fold down to a rectangular display which could have a resolution of 682 pixels.
The X Flip is said to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
The Vivo X Flip is tipped to be equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera along with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens on the back. The foldable device will also feature Zeiss tuning according to the reports.
It might be bearing a 4400mAh battery with 44-watt fast changing support.
Vivo Tab 2 specifications
Vivo Tab 2 is expected to feature a 12-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The display panel supports up to 144Hz refresh rate.
The tablet is more likely to be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset roomed with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Along with these specifications, it is also rumoured that the tablet will be equipped with a double camera setup on the back and a LED flash.
