Samsung has unveiled two posters on Amazon India's website to tease an upcoming tablet.
The first banner states, "New Galaxy Tab Coming Soon."
While the second poster reads, "Unveiling on 5th Oct."
Numerous leaks have hinted at Samsung’s development of two upcoming tablets in the Galaxy Tab A-series: the Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+. These tablets have already received certification from multiple agencies, and their existence was even confirmed by Samsung’s support pages. However, specific details about their official launch timeline have remained unknown—until now. Samsung has just provided a teaser for the Galaxy Tab A9 and, notably, disclosed the tablet’s launch date for India.

Although the banners themselves don’t directly mention the tablet’s name, a closer examination of the website’s category section unveils that these teasers are linked to the Galaxy Tab A9, reports SamMobile.
A deeper investigation into the teaser images’ names also confirms that Samsung is indeed referring to the Galaxy Tab A9.

These banners not only indicate that the Galaxy Tab A9 will be launched in India on October 5, 2023, but they also list a handful of the tablet’s capabilities. The device is depicted in silhouette in the first banner, with a stylus sitting next to the tablet. This suggests that the Galaxy Tab A9 might include a S Pen.
The Galaxy Tab A9 might also house a single camera on the back and identically sized bezels on all sides of the screen, as shown by the blurred tablet image in the other banner.
As per the FCC certification of the tablet, the Galaxy Tab A9 will likely be 210.7mm tall and 124.7mm wide. Also, the Galaxy Tab A9 is expected to feature a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging speed.
Considering that Samsung had launched the Galaxy Tab A8 in India for Rs 17,999, the new Galaxy Tab A9 is expected to be priced under Rs 20,000 in the country.
“Samsung hasn’t mentioned anything about launching the Galaxy Tab A9+ in India. Maybe this model will come at a later date,” the report said.
