Oppo Enco W31 true wireless headphones were launched alongside the Reno 3 Pro back in March. However, with the Coronavirus outbreak and the subsequent nation-wide lockdown in place, many companies had to postpone the sale dates of their recently launched smartphone. Oppo Enco W31 will go on sale for the first time in India on May 15 on Amazon India.
Interestingly, the Enco W31 TWS headphones were priced at Rs 4,499 at the time of launch, however, according to the listing on Amazon India, the headphones seem to have received a price cut and will now retail at Rs 3,999. As to why the company reduced the price of its headphones could be due to the recently launched Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 which are priced the same.
Alongside the Oppo Enco W31, the company is also readying the Oppo Enco M31 neckband style wireless headphones for its first sale from May 23.
Oppo Enco W31 TWS headphones is an in-ear style earphone that comes with 7mm audio drivers. These are IP54 rated, making it resistant to dust and water and the carry case weighs around 50 grams. The W31 connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.0 and has a range of around 10 meters.
The Enco W31 TWS headphones feature dual-microphone noise cancellation and an anti-wind noise chamber to cancel out unwanted noise during calls. The earphones also support touch-based controls that allow the wearer to change the audio mode (between balance and bass), skip tracks and also to activate the voice assistant.
There’s a bass mode that bumps up the bass-heavy elements in a track along with a balanced mode that ensures steady flow across high, mids and low frequencies.
Oppo claims that the Enco W31 TWS headphones offer up to 15 hours of music playback with the charging case and 3.5 hours on a single charge. The earphones take around 2.5 hours to charge from the case.
