Samsung has finally introduced the Galaxy S25 series at the Unpacked 2025 event. Just like every year, the company introduced the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25. All these three devices run on Android 15-based One UI 7 update which offers slew of AI features, enhanced security and privacy. The company has promised enhanced content creation with better security on offer. Here’s everything you need to know about the One UI 7 features.

AI-Powered Multimodal Interactions

The Galaxy S25 series can understand and interpret text, speech, images, and videos, allowing for natural, context-aware interactions, thanks to One UI 7. The Circle to Search feature now allows users to quickly recognize phone numbers, emails, and URLs on their screen and then take immediate action, such as calling or visiting a website.

Furthermore, the AI provides actionable searches, in which users are given contextual suggestions for next steps, such as sharing a GIF or saving event information. This makes switching between apps easy and intuitive.

Productivity and creativity boost

The Call Transcript feature transcribes and summarizes calls, allowing users to stay organized. Additionally, the Writing Assist can summarise content, format notes automatically, and allow you to select text without having to switch apps. The company also introduced Drawing Assist which allows users to combine text, sketches, and images to better express their ideas.

Professional-level editing tools

Users can improve audio clarity in videos by removing unwanted noises such as wind or crowd noises using the Audio Eraser feature. While Galaxy Log offers color grading tools for creating cinematic videos, photography enthusiasts can use Virtual Aperture to gain DSLR-like control over depth of field in Expert RAW.

Privacy-first approach with personalized AI

The Personal Data Engine analyzes user data directly on the device, delivering personalized experiences while ensuring data security via Samsung Knox Vault. The company has also promised on-device processing capabilities for features like photo searches and Now Brief suggestions, ensuring that user data is never compromised.

Furthermore, post-quantum cryptography has been integrated to safeguard user data against future security threats posed by emerging quantum computing technologies.
