The devices aim to bring Copilot+ to more users at lower prices. Notably, the Pro model features a 12-inch touch-enabled display, allowing users to use it as a tablet as well as a full-fledged laptop by attaching the detachable keyboard. The Surface Pro comes at a starting price of $799 (roughly Rs 67,700) and the Surface Laptop price starts at $899 (roughly Rs 76,200).

Windows 11 latest update: what’s new

One of the standout updates for Windows 11 is the redesigned Start Menu. It will now offer a full-screen “All Apps” view based on users’ behaviour. The company is also adding a new Phone Link functionality, allowing users to connect their phone seamlessly. The update also brings AI functionalities to File Explorer, Notepad, Photos, Paint, Snipping Tool and more.

Microsoft, in a recent blog post, shared that Copilot+ PCs will get professional-grade AI editing tools to add dynamic lighting controls to pictures. The Paint app on Copilot+ PCs will let users generate stickers from a simple text prompt, while the Snipping tool is getting two new capture tools: a text extractor and a color picker to make it easier to edit the captured image.

Additionally, users can also ask Copilot to draft content in Microsoft Word, convert on-screen information into an Excel table, and schedule Teams meetings or send messages.

That’s not all, the new “Press to Talk” feature will allow users to interact with Copilot via voice commands by holding down the Copilot key on their keyboard.
