As highlighted by MSPowerUser, Google’s experimental interface appears to resemble what Microsoft provides on its Bing search engine, which already features an extensive list of news stories and additional information.

Google’s Discover Feed is known for its personalised content recommendations. By integrating it into the desktop homepage, users can receive tailored content suggestions based on their search history and interests. This enhances the relevance of the content users see and can save time in finding the information they’re interested in.

Last week, Google announced that it will offer copyright protection to its generative AI customers. This means that if you are challenged on copyright grounds, Google will take responsibility for the potential legal risks involved. This assurance reflects the company’s commitment to stand by its users when confronted with copyright challenges, reinforcing confidence in the use of its AI-powered solutions.

As of now, the tech giant will provide protection for the output generated from these services: Duet AI in Workspace (including generated text in Google Docs and Gmail and generated images in Google Slides and Google Meet), Duet AI in Google Cloud (including Duet AI for assisted application development), Vertex AI Search, Vertex AI Conversation, Vertex AI Text Embedding API / Multimodal Embeddings, Visual Captioning / Visual Q&A on Vertex AI and Codey APIs.
