Fujifilm X-T30 III launched in India starting Rs 102999 with 26.1 MP APS-C sensor and 6.2K video support

Fujifilm has launched the X-T30 III in India, bringing its latest compact mirrorless camera to the country after its global debut in October 2025. The camera is positioned as a lightweight hybrid model for first-time digital camera users, photography enthusiasts and creators who want a proper interchangeable-lens camera without moving into a bulky professional setup.

The Fujifilm X-T30 III sits in Fujifilm’s X Series and follows the familiar retro-inspired design language of the X-T30 line. It keeps the compact body, centre viewfinder layout and physical controls that have helped Fujifilm appeal to photographers who prefer a more tactile shooting experience.

What’s new with the Fujifilm X-T30 III

The biggest upgrade is the use of Fujifilm’s X-Processor 5 image processing engine, paired with a 26.1-megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor. According to Fujifilm, this combination is designed to improve overall image processing, autofocus performance and hybrid shooting capability. 

Another notable addition is the dedicated Film Simulation dial on the top plate. The film simulation feature has been there for quite a while. This allows users to quickly switch between Fujifilm’s colour profiles without going through the menu system. For beginners, this makes the camera feel more approachable. For regular Fujifilm users, it makes popular looks such as REALA ACE and NOSTALGIC Neg. easier to access during everyday shooting.

The X-T30 III also supports three custom Film Simulation recipe slots, labelled FS1 to FS3. This means users can save their preferred colour settings and return to them quickly, which should be useful for street photography, travel, portraits and social-first content.

The Fujifilm X-T30 III is built around a 26.1MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor with the Fujifilm X mount. The camera supports SD, SDHC and SDXC cards through a single UHS-I compliant SD card slot. Its official specifications also list a 3-inch tilting touchscreen LCD with 1.62 million dots and a 0.39-inch OLED electronic viewfinder with around 2.36 million dots. 

Video is one of the major talking points. The X-T30 III supports 6.2K/30fps Open Gate video recording in 10-bit 4:2:2 colour, which lets creators capture footage using the full sensor area and crop it later for different formats. This is useful for users who shoot one clip and repurpose it for YouTube, Instagram Reels or vertical video. The camera also supports 4K/60fps video and Full HD recording at up to 240fps for slow-motion footage. 

Fujifilm has also included AI-powered autofocus with subject detection. The camera can recognise and track humans, animals, birds, vehicles, drones and insects, which should help users who shoot moving subjects without wanting to constantly adjust focus manually. There is also an Auto Mode selector lever for quick switching to automatic settings, a useful touch for first-time camera buyers.

The X-T30 III supports extended still-image sensitivity up to ISO 51200, while video sensitivity goes up to ISO 25600. For handheld video, the camera includes digital image stabilisation, although this is not the same as sensor-shift in-body image stabilisation. The body weighs around 378 g with battery and memory card, and measures 118.4 x 82.8 x 46.8 mm, making it compact enough for travel and daily carry. 

Connectivity options include USB Type-C, HDMI Micro, Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi. Fujifilm has also added direct wireless compatibility with Instax Link printers, so users can print images instantly from the camera ecosystem. The X-T30 III uses the NP-W126S rechargeable battery, with official figures listing up to 315 frames in normal mode, up to 425 frames in economy mode, and around 45 minutes of actual 6.2K/30fps video capture. 

Fujifilm X-T30 III Pricing and availability in India

The Fujifilm X-T30 III price in India starts at Rs 1,02,999 for the body-only variant. The camera is also available with the 13-33mm lens kit, priced at Rs 1,19,999. Fujifilm India says the camera will be available through authorised Fujifilm retailers in the country. 

With this launch, Fujifilm is clearly targeting users who want stronger image quality, manual controls and more creative colour options than a smartphone can offer, but still want a camera that is easy to carry and simple enough to learn on. The mix of 6.2K video, Film Simulation modes, AI autofocus and a compact body gives the X-T30 III a broad appeal among new creators, casual photographers and enthusiasts stepping into the Fujifilm X ecosystem.
