Deepinder Goyal has unveiled an upgraded version of Temple, the health wearable he has been developing to study brain and health signals. In a recent post on X, the Zomato and Eternal founder shared a first look at the latest iteration, which is now less than half the size of the version showcased earlier this year. Goyal claimed that Temple is now the smallest wearable on the market by volume, while also describing it as the most powerful version yet. The device is expected to open pre-orders soon as part of a limited launch edition, with deliveries planned before the end of 2026. Here is what we know about the new Temple so far.
SurveyGoyal recently shared an image of the updated Temple on his official X account, offering a closer look at the wearable’s redesigned form factor. According to the entrepreneur, the latest version has been reduced to less than half the volume of the prototype shown earlier this year. Not only that, but he stated that ‘Volumetrically, Temple is now the smallest wearable on the market and the most powerful.’ He further added that living and training with Temple would be transformative.

The wearable was first spotted when Goyal appeared on Raj Shamani’s Figuring Out podcast in early 2026. As he was wearing a small metallic device on his head, the unusual design quickly led to speculation about what the gadget was designed to do. Later, Goyal addressed the queries and confirmed that it’s a health wearable that aims to track cerebral blood flow and other neurological markers in real time. Moreover, Goyal has been sharing limited details about the product, keeping much of its technology under wraps as the company moves towards a commercial launch.

Goyal also started a ‘Test with Temple’ initiative, inviting sportspeople to try out the new device and experience its health-tracking capabilities firsthand. Badminton star PV Sindhu was among those spotted wearing it, including at the Uber Cup in April 2026 and reportedly at the BWF World Championships. Her husband, Venkata Datta Sai, previously confirmed that the family has been testing the device and that ‘the initial results are extremely encouraging.’
Temple: Pre-order (Expected)

Goyal has also recently confirmed that the company will start taking pre-orders for our limited launch edition of Temple very soon, and the product will start shipping before the end of 2026. He urged the interested users to join the mail list to stay up-to-date about the preorder dates.
