HIGHLIGHTS
If you have multiple Samsung accounts and haven’t signed into some of them for a long time, this is an important heads-up. Starting from July 31, 2025, Samsung will begin deleting accounts that have been inactive for 24 months or more. This means if you haven’t logged into your Samsung account for two years, it could be removed along with all the data linked to it.
Samsung says this move is to protect user data, SamMobile reported. Once an account is classified as inactive, Samsung will delete it. That means you won’t be able to access the account or any of the data associated with it.
Keep in mind that the deletion is permanent and irreversible. So if your account gets deleted, neither you nor Samsung won’t be able to restore it.

If you think you might have an inactive Samsung account, now is the time to act. To avoid losing your account, all you need to do is sign in to your Samsung account or use any Samsung service or device while logged into that account before the deadline. This will mark your account as active, preventing it from being deleted.

Samsung will also send reminder emails to users with inactive accounts, giving them a final chance to keep their accounts before they are removed. So, be sure to check the email linked to your Samsung account for any such messages.
So, if you haven’t logged into your Samsung account for a while, don’t wait until the last minute.
