Ahead of Google I/O 2025, Apple has announced the schedule for its next annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC25), slated to take place from June 9 to 13, 2025. The tech giant will host this event at its Cupertino-based Apple Park and will also be live-streamed, offering free access to all users and Apple fans. iOS 19, iPadOS 19, new macOS, and Apple intelligence are among the top features expected to be introduced at the upcoming event.

Apple WWDC 2025: What do we know
Apple will commence the WWDC 2025 with the Keynote on June 9 at 10 a.m. PDT. The tech giant is expected to unveil major software updates, including iOS 19, iPadOS 19, macOS 16, watchOS 12, tvOS 19, and visionOS 3. Both sessions will be streamed live and available through the Apple Developer app, website, and YouTube channel.
Over 100 technical sessions will be held at the event, covering a range of topics to help developers enhance their skills and build innovative applications. Apple engineers and designers will also host online group labs and one-on-one discussions on various subjects, including Apple Intelligence, design, developer tools, graphics and games, machine learning, Swift, and more.
Furthermore, the tech giant will also hold the Swift Student Challenge. The winners will be invited to Cupertino for a special three-day experience to learn and collaborate with Apple experts.
Apple WWDC 2025: What to expect
Apple hasn’t revealed any details on the upcoming announcements at its WWDC 2025. However, Apple Intelligence, the company’s suite of AI-powered features, will likely take the spotlight. Additionally, it may bring a smarter battery optimisation system and an AI-based virtual health assistant. iOS 19 is also said to get support for alternative AI models.
The tech giant had also made hardware announcements in the past. But this year, there have been no reports suggesting a new device launch.
