DC Universe Online would be the first MMO launched on the PS3. Players have the task of choosing a mentor and direct him toward good or evil as they commence with their super-careers in either Metropolis or Gotham City.

PlanetSide 2 imbibes all features from its predecessor – huge multiplayer battles, massive continents where heavy duty ground and air combat unfolds The game has features that a FPS and MMO genre should have and meets the expectations of modern gamers. The game offers top notch FPS experience with insane warfare, massive community and loads of customization.

Warframe is a third person sci-fi shooter from Digital Extremes. It is a co-op third person shooter video game where up to four players can work together to complete missions which involves eliminating enemies or retrieving data from terminals.

However, these aren’t the first confirmed free-to-play titles for Sony’s next gen console. Sony Worldwide Studios President, Shuhei Yoshida announced that Sony is working on developing it’s own free-to-play game and that they are open to different pricing models. A while back it announced that Blacklight: Retribution, will also be available on the PS4 in some time.
