DmC demo coming to PSN and Xbox Live on November 21

Capcom has revealed that a demo for the Devil May Cry reboot will hit the PS3 and the Xbox 360 on November 21st 2012 via PSN and Xbox Live respectively.

Capcom’s official blog says, “The demo will contain a few of the game’s difficulty modes, including the remixed “Son of Sparda” mode, which becomes unlocked after one completion. You’ll also have access to a variety of the game’s weapon upgrades and maybe a couple secrets along the way 😉 We’re just a week out, guys. Look forward to it!”

The demo will have two missions one of which will be a boss battle.

If you are curious to know the various difficulty modes of the game, Capcom has detailed them as follows:

Son of Sparda – Remixed enemy layouts, tougher enemies and enemy behavior throughout.

Dante Must Die – As above, but contains the strongest enemies and insane attack waves.

Heaven or Hell – Another remixed mode, but everyone and everything, including Dante, dies after one hit. Supremely satisfying!

Hell and Hell – The same as above, but only Dante dies after one hit. For serious contenders.

Capcom has also announced a DLC for the game called Vergil’s Downfall, where players will be able to play as Dante’s brother Vergil in all-new areas, against new enemies, with new moves. The DLC will not be a day one downloadable DLC, but will be made available after the launch of the game. The DLC is free to anyone who pre-orders DmC from GameStop (U.S.A.) or EBGames (Canada). No other countries were mentioned on the blog. For those that don’t pre-order the game, the DLC will be available for $8.99 (Rs. 500 Approx.).

DmC is expected to hit store shelves on January 15, 2013 for the PS3 and the Xbox 360.
