BGMI Lite pre-registrations to start next week: Date, download size and other details we know

Krafton is all set to bring BGMI Lite, a smaller and lighter version of the popular battle royale game, to Indian players. Pre-registrations for the game will start next week. The first phase will be available only for Android users. Players will be able to register through Google Play once the official listing goes live. Krafton has also confirmed that gamers will be able to use their existing BGMI account on BGMI Lite. The company has not announced an exact launch date yet, but the game is confirmed to arrive by the end of 2026.

Krafton will open pre-registrations for BGMI Lite on August 25, 2026. For now, the registration window will be limited to Android users. Players will be able to visit Google Play and search for the official BGMI Lite listing. Once the listing is available, they can tap the Pre-register button and complete the process.
There is no confirmed end date for pre-registration yet. iPhone users will also have to wait for details about iOS registration.

How to pre-register for BGMI Lite
Android users can pre-register for BGMI Lite through the Google Play Store once the official listing goes live. To do so, search for BGMI Lite on Google Play and open the official game listing. Tap the Pre-register option and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
Krafton has not confirmed whether pre-registering will offer any special rewards or bonuses. More details are expected to be announced closer to the launch.
BGMI Lite release date
Krafton has not revealed the exact launch date of BGMI Lite. However, the company has confirmed that the game will be available to players by the end of 2026.
BGMI Lite download size
BGMI Lite is being designed to take up less storage space than the regular version of the game. Krafton has confirmed that the initial Android download will be around 1GB.
The iOS version is expected to be slightly larger, with a download size of around 2GB. However, Krafton has not confirmed whether players will need to download additional game resources after installing BGMI Lite.
