What is different and what stays the same
Now since this is a remake of the game that was considered to be the best of its time, people are curious to know what is different and what stays the game. Putting it in simple words, Ubisoft is keeping the heart of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag intact while modernising almost everything around it.
The core adventure remains unchanged, with Edward Kenway returning as the protagonist, then you get the same main story, open-world Caribbean exploration, naval combat, and the Jackdaw still forming the centrepiece of the experience. Ubisoft also confirmed that Resynced is not turning into an RPG, meaning there are no character levels, gear scores, progression gates or dialogue choices.
At the same time, nearly every gameplay system has received an upgrade. Parkour is smoother with manual jumps and new traversal mechanics, combat is more skill-based with improved enemy AI and fresh moves, stealth now includes free crouching, and tailing missions no longer fail instantly if you’re spotted.
Naval gameplay has also been expanded with new ship systems, officers and customisation, while the Caribbean itself features dynamic weather, seamless exploration and greater environmental interaction. Moreover, this is no more a multiplayer experience and Resynced is entirely a single-player game.
