Acer has launched its Predator series of gaming notebooks, desktops, projectors and monitors in India. The Acer Predator 15 and 17 are gaming notebooks, the G3 and G5 are desktops, the Z650 is a gaming projector, and the X34 and Z35 are gaming monitors. Acer also launched the Predator series of gaming accessories, consisting of a mouse, mousepad, headset, and backpack. The Predator 15 and Predator 17 notebooks will be available in India in April at Rs. 1,79,000. The G series of desktops will be available from May with prices starting at Rs. 1,20,000. The Predator gaming monitors will be available from April and prices start at Rs. 39,000 and go up to Rs. 1,10,000, while the Z650 projector is priced at Rs. 1,29,000.

The Acer Predator 15 and 17 gaming notebooks are powered by a sixth generation Intel Core i7 processors with NVIDIA GeForce graphics, DDR4 memory, and PCIe solid state drives. The notebooks also come with Predator FrostCore, which is a swappable Cooler Master fan module that can be inserted into the optical disk drive bay to keep the device cool. Predator DustDefender not only helps remove dust build up, but also improves heat dissipation thanks to two dual high-speed fans. In addition, the notebooks also come with the PredatorSense gaming control panel, which lets the user customise and control certain features such as the macro programmable keys and adjustable lighting. The Predator 15 comes with a 15.6-inch display with an option of either a Full HD or 4K Ultra HD panel. The Predator 17 comes with a 17.3-inch Full HD display. The Predator 17 also comes with SoundPound 4.1, which consists of four built-in speakers, and two subwoofers which deliver 12 watts of sound. The Predator 15 features SoundPound 2.1, which includes two speakers and one subwoofer for six watts of sound.

The Predator G6 gaming desktop is powered by the sixth generation Intel Core i7-6700K and offers 64GH of DDR4 dual-channel memory. The desktop also features “One-Punch” CPU overclocking and an IceTunnel cooling system. The device comes with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 and also comes with the PredatorSense control hub. In addition, the Predator G6 comes with Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi MB5 audio. The desktop offers one PCI-E X16 slot, two PCI-E X1 slots, and two M.2 slots. It supports up to 4TB of storage that can be expanded further with a 512GB SSD.

The Predator Z650 is a gaming projector that uses short-throw technology, which will allow users to project a 100-inch image from just 1.5 meters. The project is capable of a Full HD projection an offers a contrast ratio of 20,000:1. In addition, the projector comes with stereo speakers built in. The Predator X34 monitor is a 34-inch curved monitor, which Acer claims is the first curved monitor with NVIDIA G-SYNC. The monitor also comes with a DisplayPort and HDMI inputs with a built-in USB 3.0 hub. The Predator Z35 is a 35-inch curved ultra-widescreen monitor. The device has a standard refresh rate of 144Hz and can be increased 200Hz. The monitor also supports NVIDIA G-Sync and includes a DisplayPort and HDMI port along with 9W stereo speakers and a 4-port USB 3.0 hub.

Acer also unveiled Predator gaming accessories in India. The Predator Gaming mouse features an optical sensor with zero acceleration along with rubber side grips. The mouse can also be customised though a number of features like response time, adjustable buttons, dual light zones, custom tuning, and a 3D printable nameplate. The Predator Gaming Mousepad features a heavy no-slip silicone base with heat-bound edging to prevent fraying. The mousepad is also water resistant. The Predator Gaming Headset comes with a built-in microphone that can be retracted into the ear cup and 50mm driver units. The Predator Gaming Utility Backpack is made using 1680D ballistic exterior, which helps with the durability of the backpack, while the zippers are water repellent. The backpack also features military grade coating on the top and bottom to keep out rain and mud.
