Netflix has officially announced that One Piece season 3 will arrive sometime in 2027. The streaming service has not revealed an exact release date yet. Although the wait may sound longer to fans, large-scale shows like One Piece need a long time for filming, visual effects and post-production. Like the previous two seasons, the upcoming season will be available exclusively on Netflix.

Season 3 will feature the famous Alabasta arc from the manga. The story will focus on Princess Vivi and the kingdom of Alabasta. According to the official logline, a rebellion “threatens to tear the nation apart, fueled in secret by one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, the ruthless Sir Crocodile, and his underground syndicate Baroque Works, who seek to conquer Alabasta for themselves.”
The official description further says, “In a season defined by unbreakable bonds and impossible choices, the Straw Hats must face a brewing civil war and a powerful warlord to save Vivi’s kingdom before it crumbles into the sand.”
Viewers can also expect to see new places, powerful villains and some of the biggest fights the Straw Hat Pirates have faced in the live-action series so far.
