Realme has introduced the Buds Clip (review), its first-ever clip-style open-fit true wireless earphones, aimed at users who prioritise comfort and ambient awareness. Unlike conventional in-ear TWS that seal the ear canal, these don’t. It has an 11mm dual-driver setup, NextBass algorithm, dual-mic backed AI ENC, and up to 45ms low latency. Here are all the details:
SurveyPrice and availability
Realme Buds Clip is priced at Rs 5,999 in India. As part of the introductory offer, you can grab the earbuds for Rs 5,499. It will be available from February 5th at 12 PM. The offer extends till February 7th at 11:59 PM.
Specifications and features
Each earbud weighs 5.3g and uses a metal structure to balance flexibility with durability. The frosted finish is designed to resist sweat and daily wear.
For audio, Realme packs an 11mm dual-driver system. This is aided by the NextBass algorithm, which is said to enhance low-end response while keeping vocals clear and ensuring a balanced soundstage. For an even wider and deeper soundstage, there is 3D Spatial Audio.
The open-ear design is backed by Directional Sound-Leap technology, which focuses audio towards the ear to limit sound leakage.
On the smart features side, the Buds Clip includes AI ENC with a dual-microphone setup for clearer calls in noisy environments. It supports dual-device connection, allowing users to stay connected to two devices, such as a phone and a laptop, at the same time. You also get Game Mode that brings latency down to 45ms, which should help with gaming and short-form video consumption, and tap controls for various functions.

The earbuds support AI voice assistance powered by Gemini for hands-free tasks, a Find My Earphones feature, an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, and up to 36 hours of total battery life.
The Buds Clip introduces a completely new form factor for Realme. This is the brand’s first move away from in-ear and stem-based TWS designs. The clip-style build targets users who dislike ear canal pressure or frequently remove earbuds during the day.
The open, clip-style design will not offer the same noise isolation as in-ear TWS, which may affect listening in very noisy environments. Bass performance, while enhanced by software, is unlikely to match sealed earbuds.
