Typically, when platforms go offline, users rush to X to share their frustrations or seek real-time updates. However, with X itself down, many found themselves without their go-to space for live reactions. Interestingly, a few users still managed to post about the situation on X.
One user expressed their frustration by posting, “Oh great, X servers are down again.” Another user asked, “Can you see this post? Is X down or something?” Meanwhile. a third post read, “Is X down?? Anyone else having problems??”
Some users reported specific issues with the platform. For example, one complained, “Is X down? I can’t edit my tweet, not getting an option to edit.” Another frustrated user wrote, “X Pro isn’t working, Grok isn’t working, I can hardly get regular X to show me posts from folks I’m following. What gives?” Questioning the platform’s reliability, a user posted, “We really need a decentralised alternative before it’s too late.”
As of the time of writing, X has not issued any official statement acknowledging the outage, nor has it provided a timeline for when normal service will resume. For now, users can only wait for an official update or resolution from the company.
