SurveyWhile the new feature is not mentioned in the official changelog on the App Store, known WhatsApp tipster publication WABetaInfo has confirmed that WhatsApp is releasing the ability to associate an email address with a WhatsApp account.

To check if the feature is rolled out to your WhatsApp account, go to the WhatsApp Settings > Account.

The email address feature will serve as a useful backup, especially for situations when users encounter difficulties in receiving SMS messages.
However, it’s important to note that users will still have the option to log into WhatsApp using the default method, which involves requesting a 6-digit code via SMS.
