WhatsApp for Windows to let users disable notifications of calls: How it works
HIGHLIGHTS

This WhatsApp update will disable notifications of calls on Windows.

You can check in ‘Notifications’ if feature is available or not.

This is included in a list of features that WhatsApp has recently introduced.

In the latest WhatsApp beta update codenamed 2.2250.4.0, users are getting the ability to disable notifications for calls. Let’s learn how it works.

Disable WhatsApp Call Notification: How to do it

To see whether you are one of those who can also upgrade, all that the users need to do is to go to WhatsApp Settings and then to Notifications. If you get an option to toggle this feature, then this means it is already available to you.

Notifications for calls were showing up even while some users were reportedly on ‘Do not Disturb’ because of an unexpected issue. To deal with that bug, you can manually, temporarily disable those notifications, once and for all.

What are the other recent updates that WhatsApp has released?

Just last week, WhatsApp released a feature wherein users could open a chat with their own numbers and wherein they could store notes or whatever they feel like.

In a recent update, WhatsApp had even enabled ‘View Once’ messages where the messages would disappear once the viewer has seen them, just like Snapchat. This was a major upgrade after messages that would disappear after 24 hours, 7 days or 90 days depending on the way you chose the setting.

What are the other updates that WhatsApp is working on?

WhatsApp is also reportedly rolling out a total of 3 new large animated heart emojis which will be in sync with all other types/colours of heart emojis already available for beta testing.

When can you expect these changes?

If you are not a part of the list of people who have already received these updates, then worry not. It is currently being rolled out to some users and will be widely available soon.
