The Saavn Pro brings offline music listening capabilities and is completely ad free. The service however, is available free only for a 30-day trial period, post which users will have to pay Rs. 220 monthly charges.
Even as Gaana.com brought its app to Windows Phone platform, rival music streaming service Saavn has updated its iOS app to version 2.0, and also added a new premium service called, Saavn Pro.
The updated Saavn for iOS app features cleaner UI as well as improved performance and stability. The app also has been made easier to save, manage and share music and playlists.
The Saavn Pro service brings offline listening and is completely ad free. To access offline music, users need to click the cloud icon placed next to any song or playlist. The service enables users to sync their saved music between devices. The service will soon include an updated audio feature – Pro audio, which would deliver high quality music streaming (@320kbps).
Saavn Pro is available for free only for a 30-day trial period, post which subscribers will have to pay Rs. 220 per month directly through their Apple ID. One can renew the subscription automatically on monthly basis.
