Pinterest has updated its iOS app and has included shortcuts to help people pin, like, and share faster.
Pinterest has added a new iOS update that allows people to add home feeds, interact instantly with a special menu and an Edit Home Feed button that lets you add or remove stuff from your home feed easily.
Pinterest’s new shortcut menu has three icons which include: pin it, like, and send. Members can just click on a button to do any of the three. It has also added an animated pinning shortcut that further simplifies the whole process and makes it fun. The update looks similar to Tumblr’s sharing tools but boasts of fancier graphics. The new application also lets users to set board covers and mention their friends in pin descriptions.
The Edit Home Feed button is meant for iPhone users only, while as the ability to send pins to your friends is available for iPad users as well. The Pinterest iOS app is meant for iOS 5.0 or later and is available for download from the Apple App store.
Pinterest has recently added new personalized features for users by automatically checking their browser history. Users that allow Pinterest to personalize their blogs will get an improved user experience and access to pins, content, etc. Pinterest ‘Edit Your Home Feed’ button allows users to tweak their feeds and the company will be adding a new ‘Pin It’ button soon. The company also added that it will follow Do Not Track preferences and users will be able to turn the feature on or off from their account Settings page at any time.
