Sony's popular TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) official mobile gaming application has been launched for smartphones.
Multi Screen Media (MSM) Pvt. Ltd. a segment of Sony Pictures Private Limited has launched the gaming application of the popular TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) for smartphones. Users can download the game for 0.99 USD in iTunes and Windows application stores. It is also available for Android platform.
According to the press release by the company, the application is packed with a host of rich and immersive video content, games, exciting features and users also have a chance to win iPads. The game has interactive quizzes contests and games on a single app. Now KBC Fans can experience the game first hand on their mobile phones.
Just like the original TV show the game has an “Insta Hot Seat”, with a template photo frame of the KBC set. Users can insert their picture in the frame and share it with their friends on Facebook and Twitter. The app also has lifelines and that can be used when needed by the players.
It has “Globe Quiz”, a globe-like interface where users can click on any part of the world and answer a trivia question. Like the TV show, the interface allows the user to choose from the KBC characteristic four answers pop-up and the app reverts with the correct answer.
The app also has a Prize meter & Heat map, with a graphical representation of the prize money won by the contestant and Heat Map depicts the part of the country he belongs to. The app has a message wall through which users can share wishes and messages with Mr. Bachchan and it also has a photo gallery with images of Mr. Bachchan and the other contestants and celebrities that come on the show.
