How to see your Instagram account’s recent login activity

Instagram allows you to view a list of devices that have recently logged in to your account. If you don’t recognise a recent login, you can log out of that location or device.

How to see your Instagram account’s recent login activity from Android & iOS

Step 1: Open the Instagram app from your Android or iOS device.

Step 2: Tap your profile picture present at the bottom right corner to go to your profile.

Step 3: Tap the three horizontal lines in the top right.

Step 4: Select the Settings and privacy option.

Step 5: Tap the Accounts Centre option.

Step 6: Select the Password and security option.

Step 7: Now, tap the Where you’re logged in option.

Step 8: To log out of devices that you’re currently logged in to, tap on one of your accounts, then scroll down and tap the Select devices to log out option.

Step 9: Select the devices that you’d like to log out of.

Step 10: Tap Log out.

How to see your Instagram account’s recent login activity from computer

Step 1: Open Instagram on any web browser. Or click here.

Step 2: Login into your Instagram account.

Step 3: Click the three horizontal lines present at the bottom left corner.

Step 4: Click Settings.

Step 5: Tap the See more in Accounts Centre option.

Step 6: Select Password and security.

Step 7: Tap the Where you’re logged in option.

Step 8: To log out of devices that you’re currently logged in to, tap on one of your accounts, then scroll down and tap the Select devices to log out option.

Step 9: Now, choose the devices that you’d like to log out of, and then tap Log out.

How to check how much time you’ve spent on Instagram

You can see the average amount of time you spent on Instagram within the last seven days. The tracking of time on Instagram begins when you open the app and ends when you either close the app or switch to using another app on your device.

To see how much time you’ve spent on Instagram, follow the below steps:

Step 1: Open the Instagram app.

Step 2: Tap your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.

Step 3: Tap the three horizontal lines present at the top right corner.

Step 4: Select the Your activity option.

Step 5: Scroll down and tap the Time Spent option. You’ll see the average time you spent on Instagram in the last week.
