Best phones with 7000mAh or bigger batteries in India in 2025

What the heart really wants is ‘apratihata’ or uninterrupted battery backup. Sure, we love high refresh rate displays, AI camera tricks, and fast chipsets, but all of that becomes pointless when your phone dies halfway through the day. For years, the solution to poor or mediocre battery life has been faster charging: 33W, 67W, 120W, and now even 240W. Which serves the purpose, but still requires you to be cautious with battery juice. The good news is, battery tech has gradually evolved in a direction when we won’t have to plug them as often. Manufacturers have begun finding ways to fit massive 7000mAh units into phones that don’t look like bricks. And these aren’t ruggedised devices or niche models. These are everyday smartphones, designed for regular users who simply want their phone to last longer without sacrificing looks or features.

That said, there’s more than one way to utilise denser batteries. Samsung, for instance, recently took a different route with its Galaxy S25 Edge, keeping a modest battery capacity but shaving the phone down to a razor-slim profile.

What to expect from a 7000mAh battery phone?

Now, just because a phone has a 7000mAh battery doesn’t mean it will automatically outlast everything else on the market. A phone’s actual battery performance depends on a variety of factors, chiefly the display size and resolution, the chipset, the refresh rate, and software optimisations.

In fact, with the increase in battery capacities, the hardware demands have also grown proportionately. Think brighter AMOLED panels, higher frame rates, and more aggressive background AI features. So, while the capacity is going up, so is the demand. It’s a delicate balance.

But how much backup can you expect? All the 7000mAh+ battery phones that we have tested lasted for at least 25 hours in the PC Mark Work 3.0 battery test that measures drop from 100 to 20 per cent. So a well-optimised 7000mAh+ battery phone should typically translate to 2 full days of moderate to heavy use for most people, possibly more.

Phones in India with 7000mAh or higher battery

Here’s a quick look at some of the top contenders that have embraced the big battery life, each offering a slightly different take on the formula.

iQOO Z10

The iQOO Z10 is one of the first smartphones in India to house a massive 7,300mAh battery, and yet it manages to stay surprisingly sleek at just 8.1mm thick and weighing around 195 grams. In our tests, it lasted over 24 hours in the PCMark battery benchmark. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and supports 90W fast charging, helping it refuel quickly despite the large battery size. iQOO pairs this with a 50MP OIS-enabled main camera and a 32MP front shooter, making it a solid all-rounder in its segment.

Vivo T4

Vivo T4 is similar to iQOO Z10 and houses the same 7300mAh battery with 90W fast charging while still limiting the thickness to just 7.9mm. It features a 6.77-inch Full HD+ quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, ensuring clear visibility even under direct sunlight. Powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, the device comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and a 2MP secondary sensor, while the front houses a 32MP selfie camera. Running on Android 15 with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 15, the T4 5G incorporates AI-driven features like AI Erase and Photo Enhance.

Oppo K13

The Oppo K13 5G (Review) is a mid-range smartphone featuring a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset. It comes with 8GB RAM, up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 14. A standout feature is its massive 7000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, packed in an 8.5 mm slim casing. The battery backup, however, wasn’t extraordinary. We recorded 13 hours on the PC Mark Work 3.0 battery test. The phone also includes a 50MP dual rear camera setup, a 16MP front camera, stereo speakers, and IP54 dust and water resistance.

Realme GT7 [Upcoming]

Slated to launch on May 27, the Realme GT7 is confirmed to include a 7000mAh battery paired with 120W fast charging. Realme claims that the phone can charge to 100 per cent in just 40 minutes. The blend of long battery life and strikingly fast top-up times certainly makes the phone exciting.
