Available first to Team users, it has rolled out to Pro and Plus subscribers although a little late in the EEA, Switzerland, and UK due to regulatory delays. It is also available to free users but only 5 queries every month. If your work depends on accuracy and synthesis, this is the most valuable tool in ChatGPT’s arsenal right now.
Advanced Image Generation and Editing (March 2025)
Replacing the earlier DALL·E 3 system, this GPT-4o-powered feature launched in March and is already a hit with creatives. It doesn’t just generate images, it lets you edit them with precision. Want to change a background, add an object, or shift the style from oil painting to comic book? Just describe it in plain language.

ChatGPT has finally brought an AI notetaker. In June, OpenAI introduced ChatGPT Record, a feature exclusive to the macOS desktop app for Pro, Enterprise, and Edu users. It automatically transcribes and summarizes meetings, voice notes, or spontaneous thoughts and then generates outputs like follow-ups, reminders, or even working code. This is a feature limited not just to Mac users but users with Mac Devices that have specifically Apple’s Silicon (so M1 and after).
It’s still niche, but for professionals juggling meetings or remote collaboration, it saves hours. If you live in your calendar, this one’s worth exploring.
