Performance Expectations
- Gaming: With the RX 9060 XT and Ryzen 5 9600X, this build delivers excellent gaming performance at 1080p and is capable of smooth 1440p gameplay without needing to tweak too much. Out of the box, most games run well at their default settings (usually medium to high presets depending on the title), with FSR 3 helping boost frame rates where needed. These titles are highly optimized and benefit from the CPU’s fast single-core performance. GTA V runs comfortably at 150 FPS or more, even in open-world driving and combat sequences. Modern demanding titles like Cyberpunk 2077 run around 150 FPS, especially with FSR enabled. Games like Elden Ring and Starfield, which are more GPU-bound, still manage a consistent 100 FPS on their default quality profiles with FSR helping in denser scenes. Ray tracing is available and can be enabled selectively in games that support it, but for best performance, it’s ideal to stick with standard settings and rely on FSR 3 to maintain smoother frame rates.
