A new leak has dropped some details on the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s display. The tech giant is tipped to use Colour Filter on Encapsulation (CoE) OLED panel on its top-of-the-line model. The latest leak also coincides with a previous report that suggested a similar feature. If reports are to be believed, the new technology will replace the traditional polariser with a colour filter and the standard pixel definition layer (PDL) with a black PDL.

According to the tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s CoE OLED panel will make the device thinner while also improving the light transmittance and reducing the power consumption. This also means that the upcoming device may get a better battery life than its predecessor. Furthermore, the tipster also claimed that the smartphone could get a third-generation anti-reflective coating over the display for a better viewing experience.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to retain the 6.9-inch display similar to its predecessor. The device could be backed by an overclocked Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 for Galaxy custom chipset.
Additionally, it is rumoured to come in three storage options- 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, paired with 16GB of RAM. In terms of battery, it could get a 5,000mAh battery with faster charging support.
As for the camera, the device is rumoured to feature a 200MP Sony lens alongside two 50MP sensors (one periscope and one ultra-wide), and a 12MP telephoto shooter on the rear panel.
