Apple iPhone 17 Air hands-on video leaked: Here’s what it could look like

However, it seems to be a dummy unit suggesting that the device will not stand out for its power and versatility, but for its minimalist and ultra-slim profile. Here’s the first look at the details of the iPhone 17 Air.

iPhone 17 Air first look and specs

In a video, the iPhone 17 Air in matte black finish can be seen with a completely new design. The device features a full-width camera bar on the rear with a single camera, possibly a 48MP lens, a departure from the multiple-lens setups seen in Apple’s Pro series. The device seems to be very sleek and the reports citing supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claim that it will measure just 5.5mm, making it very slimmer compared to the iPhone 16 Pro.

However, due to the slim form factor, the iPhone 17 Air may sacrifice a few features. It is said to include a single speaker, no physical SIM slot, and a smaller battery. It could come powered by an A19 chip rather than the A19 Pro found in higher-end models. The device is also said to come with a 6.6-inch display with Dynamic Island, a USB-C port, 12GB of RAM, and support for MagSafe accessories.

Meanwhile, Apple is said to introduce the iPhone 17 series including the iPhone 17 Air in the second or third week of September. It is also worth noting that the device shown in the video is the dummy unit and not the final unit. We may see some changes in design, specs, camera, and other aspects.
