OnePlus 15R is set to launch in India on December 17 alongside the Pad Go 2
OnePlus will launch the 15R smartphone and Pad Go 2 tablet in India on December 17, along with a new stylus accessory.
The OnePlus 15R is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, a 165Hz OLED display, and a large 7,800mAh battery.
The Pad Go 2 brings a new 5G-enabled variant and the Pad Go 2 Stylo for smoother note-taking and drawing.
OnePlus is all set for a major India launch with the official date now set for the OnePlus 15R. The phone, positioned as the value-focused entry in the upcoming OnePlus 15 series, is expected to reach Indian stores soon after its global debut. Also sharing the stage is the new OnePlus Pad Go 2, a follow-up to the original Pad Go from 2023. Alongside the tablet, OnePlus will introduce a new stylus accessory designed for everyday note-taking and basic creative tasks. With the full unveiling scheduled for December 17, users will get a better idea of how these additions fit into OnePlus’ broader device lineup.
SurveyOnePlus 15R: Expected price
While OnePlus hasn’t confirmed pricing, the R series is always positioned in the upper-mid-range segment. Early estimates peg the starting price of the OnePlus 15R close to Rs 44,999 in India, which is marginally higher than the OnePlus 13R and expected, given the upgraded hardware and design.

OnePlus 15R: Rumoured specifications
The OnePlus 15R is confirmed to come in two colours: Charcoal Black and Mint Breeze. It will feature a flat metal frame with a camera setup positioned at 45 degrees from the top-left corner, offering a clean and modern look.
Other rumoured specifications include a 165Hz OLED display along with an optical fingerprint sensor. The OnePlus 15R is expected to house the yet-to-be-announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset under its hood.
Battery life could be a significant talking point; there are whispers about a substantial 7,800mAh battery with support for fast charging, making it one of the more capacious options in its segment. As for the camera, the setup may also see a bump to a triple-lens configuration, although details remain unclear.

OnePlus has also said that the 15R meets multiple durability ratings, such as IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K, offering protection against dust, water, and high-pressure conditions.
OnePlus Pad Go 2: Everything we know
Along with the 15R, OnePlus will also launch the Pad Go 2 tablet in India. The tablet is positioned for users who want a simple and comfortable device to study, work, or enjoy. The smooth-finish Pad Go 2 will be available in two colours: Shadow Black and Lavender Drift. The Shadow Black variant also supports 5G, making it the first OnePlus tablet with 5G connectivity.
