Lenovo owned ZUK announces partnership with Cyanogen to offer Cyanogen OS 12.1 for the international version of the ZUK Z1

ZUK  has announced a partnership with CyanogenMod for the international launch of the ZUK Z1. The ZUK Z1 is the the first device from ZUK and through this partnership, the phone will come with Cyanogen OS 12.1. The Chinese version of the Z1 uses ZUI. The phone also comes with a number of notable features such as a 5.5-inch Full HD Display, 2.5GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 SoC, 3GB LPPDR3 RAM, 64GB internal memory, 13MP rear camera, and 8MP front camera. The phone will also come with a USB 3.0 Type-C port.

Other leading privacy and security features include PIN Scramble to randomize the numbers behind your password, the Protected Apps feature to keep your apps private in lockable folders, and Blocked Caller List to permanently block phone numbers. 

Vikram Natarajan, Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships and Distribution for Cyanogen, will attend the ZUK Z1 international launch press conference on 21th August, 2015 in Shenzhen, in order to further strengthen the cooperation between the two parties.
