The company has reportedly received pre-orders for Zenfone 2 Laser, Deluxe, and Zenfone Selfie across 660 cities, via Flipkart
ASUS has announced that it has received more than 30,000 pre-orders for its smartphones, namely Zenfone 2 Laser, Zenfone 2 Deluxe, and Zenfone Selfie. These smartphones were launched by the company earlier this month on August 6, and they went up for pre-orders on August 19. The Asus Zenfone 2 Laser comes with a 5.5-inch FHD display and Snapdragon 410/615 SoC with 2GB/3GB RAM variants. There is one more variant of the Zenfone, which has a 6-inch screen and runs on Snaprdragon 615 processor. The Zenfone 2 Deluxe sports a 5.5-inch FHD display and Intel Z3580 processor, with 4GB RAM. The last one, Zenfone Selfie, comes with a 5.5-inch FHD display with Snapdragon 615 SoC and 2GB/3GB RAM option. The device is aimed for selfie lovers, and comes with a 13MP front as well as rear camera.

Looking at the response, the company today has confirmed that it has received 30K pre-orders across its recently launched product line. As per ASUS’ estimates derived from Flipkart 30K number of pre-orders have been received across 660 cities etc. across India.
After a huge success with Zenfone 2, the company plans to target three market segments – people crazy about Selfies (Zenfone Selfie), and devices with superior specs and Zenfone Deluxe and Zenfone 2 (Laser).
As per the internal estimates, Zenfone 2 Laser dominates as the current consumer favorite with the company seeing a complete stock-out of the device on the 3rd day of it being available for pre-order, Laser 5.5 (black color variant) being the preferred color as per records alone 10K units were booked, owing to the unprecedented demand, the company faced a complete stock-out with Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5’, looking at the 100 % stock out and due to consumers demand company managed to refill the stocks and “Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5’ is available for “pre-order on Flipkart now.
