redBus, India’s largest online bus ticketing platform that has transformed bus travel in the country has joined hands with Google Maps to provide inter-city bus transit information to make travel even more convenient. By bringing convenience, choice and unmatched prices redBus has become the first-choice of millions of customers and thousands of bus operators.

This partnership allows users of Google Maps to get all the inter-city bus transit information when they search for information on how to travel between two cities. So far, Google Maps has been presenting users with driving information and train transit information for inter-city searches. With the addition of inventory that redBus has meticulously stitched from 2300 bus operators across India including government-run buses, Google will be able to present information on buses that ply between cities with the exact time and information on where to board the bus. Users can pre-book seats on these buses from the redBus mobile app or website.
