Sony has launched its new wireless headphone in India, the WH-CH700N. The headphone comes with noise-cancellation and supports Google Assistant and voice commands. The device is said to deliver up to 35 hours of audio playback on a single full charge and an hour of playback after ten minutes of charging.

With its commitment to offer the best audio experience, Sony India further expanded its noise cancellation headphones line-up with the launch of WH-CH700N. The all new Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones are specially designed for long hours of listening on the move. One can listen to music without wires and block out unwanted background noise with digital noise cancelation.

Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones

WH-CH700N comes with Sony’s revolutionary noise cancelling technology, making the headphones smarter by reducing ambient noise and giving an immersive sound experience.


The Artificial Intelligence Noise Cancelation (AINC) analyzes background sound and adjusts it for optimal performance on airplanes and other noisy environments. One can activate the feature with just a press and hold of the NC button.

Premium and elegant design

The headphones combine an ultra-comfortable design with an adjustable slider headband that allows one to adjust headphones to the perfect size. 


It offers premium soft Earpads shape around the ears for a snug and comfortable fit. The ear cups are elegantly designed which allows the headphones to swivel flat and be packed in a suitcase or slipped into a bag, so one can transport them securely wherever one can go. 

Google Assistant compatibility with Voice Assistant feature

Sony’s new headphones will be optimized for Google Assistant with an update.[1] The headphones are also equipped with built-in microphone for voice assistant commands and hands-free calls. Users can attend to calls without even taking their phone out of the pocket or bag.


Battery life up to 35 hours with 10 min Quick Charge offering 60 min playback

The headphones provide up to massive 35 hours of battery life. WH-CH700N is also equipped with Quick Charge that gives 60 mins of playback from 10 minutes of charge. A built-in Li-ion battery delivers up to 35 hours of power (depending on music settings) and is rechargeable via USB. User can continue listening even when the battery runs out. The supplied cable lets user listen anytime, or extend the noise canceling mode for up to 50 hours of listening.

One can set the perfect sound for every song and tune the headphones with the free Sony Headphones Connect App for Android and iOS.

The WH-CH700N also comes with NFC connection, simply touch select NFC-enabled devices to the on-body N-mark for a quick, seamless connection, which allows users to start streaming content via Bluetooth® connection. One can also boost quality of compressed music files with Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) feature.


WH-CH700N will be available across all Sony Centers and major electronic stores in India.
