Pixel 12 Pro Fold to offer higher resolution

Apart from the model number, the screen resolutions were also leaked. The Pixel 12 is expected to have a 1080 × 2400p resolution. The Pixel 12 Pro will likely get a 1280 × 2824p resolution, while the Pro XL is said to have a 1344 × 2952p resolution. These are largely similar resolutions to the Pixel 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro XL.

However, the Pixel 12 Pro Fold is said to offer a higher-resolution inner screen at 2296 × 2404p compared to the 11 Pro Fold’s 2076 x 2152p main display. This means the upcoming foldable will likely offer higher pixels per inch (PPI), which could translate to sharper text and more detailed image viewing.

The change is expected to upscale the multitasking experience on the larger screen. Further, the report speculates the company could change the aspect ratio for different ergonomics. The Pixel 12 series is reportedly undergoing testing with Android 18. However, details about its possible features remain scant at the moment.
