boAt has launched its first-ever Bluetooth Calling smartwatch dubbed the boAt Primia. The smartwatch boasts features such as a 1.39-inch AMOLED display, a built-in speaker and microphone, and a metallic build. The smartwatch also works with the boAt Crest app that helps users in their fitness journeys. Additionally, the device has a battery life of 7 days, according to boAt, ensuring you won't have to reach for the charging cable too often.

boAt Primia: Price and availability

The newly-launched boAt Primia, Bluetooth calling smartwatch, is priced at Rs 4,499. boAt will be launching the device at an introductory price of Rs 3,999 for the first 1000 customers. It will be available for purchase on Amazon and boAt's website. The smartwatch will go on sale on May 19 at 12 PM. It is available in two colour options – Active Black and Deep Blue.

boAt Primia: Specs and features

The boAt Primia smartwatch houses a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454×454 pixels. The smartwatch has a premium-looking metallic design and a classic leather strap. The company has not disclosed if the strap is replaceable. The smartwatch supports Bluetooth calling feature facilitated by an inbuilt speaker and microphone. 

The smartwatch also comes with voice assistant support including Google Assistant and Siri, so users can simply use the inbuilt microphone to give commands to their voice assistant to carry out tasks.

The boAt Primia is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance, which significantly protects it against external elements. The battery life is rated at 7 days, as per the company.

For fitness, the smartwatch is packed with 11 Active Sports Modes for basketball, football, cycling, yoga, and much more. It comes with an in-built heart rate, SPO2, and stress level tracker. You also get a sleep tracker to monitor your sleeping pattern. The smartwatch supports Google Fit and Apple Health and users can use the boAt Crest app to track activities, calories, and fitness.
